  I believe that Janette is an exceptional psychiatrist. She offers a perspective that you wouldn't think you could comprehend. Janette also offers to make you a hot drink and for that I give her 5/5 stars. Janette's receptionist(s) are lovely and will also make you a hot drink. If you are anxious, they will offer so you don't need to worry.

  The receptions kindly texted me to let me know that Jeanette was going to be fifteen minutes late. I wouldn’t recommend seeing her if you have autism spectrum disorder/asperger's syndrome as she believes (direct quote) “it’s very easy to get diagnosed with and everyone has a diagnosis of aspergers nowadays.” She told me the medication I take for sleeping isn’t for sleeping. It wasn’t very reassuring to have a psychiatrist basically say “I don’t know medication has multiple uses.” It was prescribed by another psychiatrist, and it really should have been something she knew. She insisted something was fact when it wasn’t multiple times. She said I knew something when I truly didn’t and refused to believe otherwise even though I’m obviously having trouble with my memory and concentration. She wasn’t taking her notes adequately and thought things were contradictions and accused me of lying when nothing actually contradicted each other. She didn’t ask me to elaborate or pay attention to tense. I told her I used to have childhood symptoms during the appointment and at the end of the appointment she seemed to be under the impression I had been talking about my current self (I obviously wasn’t) and based her conclusions on that. She didn’t pay attention to the referral letter, she decided I didn’t have what was on it before asking me anything about it and didn’t ask anything about it. Summary: An appointment with Janette is a waste of time and money. She’s inattentive and pessimistic.

  I must say, I don't do these reviews as I'm not very 'tech' savvy and I worry about the impact a tap of the keyboard can have on someone's life. But I have had Dr Mohr as my psychiatrist for years and saw the reviews most of which I agree with, but there were a 2 which compelled me to comment. Dr Mohr is a kind hearted woman and an incredibly insightful psychiatrist. She challenges you to take control of your life, claim responsibility for the things you have control over and provides you with the tools and support to overcome and manage the things you can't control. As for the 2 poor reviews, the one with a comment seems like perhaps there was a personality clash and I can understand that, I too clashed with a number of psychiatrist before finding Dr Mohr. All I can say is I truly believe the 5 star reviews from her other patients should be reflective of the capabilities of this doctor if she is the right one for you. For the review with no comment, I consider it a flaw of this system that allows people to throw-out criticism without any justification or ownership, and ignorance on that individual reviewers behalf. It seems poor insight into the damage you can do an individual's job with a click of the mouse. If you and Dr Mohr are the right fit, she will change your life in the most positive way. She is truly quite a phenomenal psychiatrist. To do this, she does need to highlight some home truths on occasion, but because of her method, I am more healed today than I ever thought I could be. If I could give her more stars I would! P.S. Her receptionists are fantastically welcoming!

  Dr Janette Mohr is absolutely excellent. Without question, the best specialist I have been involved with. She goes above and beyond for her patients and demonstrates a level of care and understanding that is exceptionally rare these days. Dr Mohr is conscientious, caring, a wonderful listener and extremely professional. I could not recommend her any more highly. I do not know what the previous reviewer was referring to, but I can only imagine that this individual may simply have been unhappy with the feedback she received, as sometimes the truth can be difficult to confront, particularly in oneself. It seems to me perhaps this patient is undertaking a personal endeavour to degrade Dr Mohr's professional standing which in my consideration, and in the consideration of countless others, is utterly exemplary. Dr Mohr is an excellent psychiatrist and a consummate professional.
